The Networked Innovation (netoVation) Platform was created by netoCiety as a bundled solution for some specific client work and is now being offered as an 'out-of-the-box' solution. This site is for demonstration purposes only and is intended to show:
How anyone (employees, partners, customers) can submit ideas
How ideas are discussed and voted on
How most popular ideas will bubble up to the top of the list
How using the wisdom of crowds and a reviewing team within the organisation, your idea may be progressed through various stages
How your idea could end up being implemented
netoCiety has "mashed-up" several standard Confluence plugins in order to achieve a basic process whereby data can be collected in standard form fields, saved and tagged as pages in Confluence, summarised and reported on (see the Idea Bank page) and finally made search-able. With a little imagination, you might see how this could be used to gather data on people's expertise - especially useful in large organisations where it has already been implemented in this way - as well as for various other data gathering purposes.
The Networked Innovation Platform offers a marketplace for ideas contributed by your organisation's online community. Customers, employees and partners can submit, vote on, and discuss ideas.

ME
Hi ME - Thanks for your comment and the note about IE. Currently we are optimised for Firefox and stable versions of IE. Chris, one of our designers should be along shortly to give you the lowdown on our intentions for IE8.
hi hello, thx a lot for the ie8-beta information.
We are constantly watching the development of ie8. Unfortunately the beta-version is pretty bug-ridden and so updating the site to work with the ie8-beta is currently not in our immediate plans. When it is stable we will look into updating.
