EncoderPlugin

Overview

 The encoder plugin basically supports 3 types of actions:

* encode text with {encode-text}your text goes here{encode-text}

* encode mailto links with {encode-mailto:address=john@doe.com|name=John Doe}

* encode links with {encode-link:link=http://del.icio.us|name=delicous}

Encode text

If you want to encode text, just wrap all your text into the encode-text macro, as in the example above. The encode-text macro does not have any options.

Examples
* {encode-text}some text{encode-text}
* {encode-text}some other text{encode-text}

which will give you:

  • some text
  • some other text

Encode mailto links

To encode mailto-links you have to at least specify an address. If you also supply a name, it will be displayed instead of the address

Examples
* {encode-mailto:address=bill.gates@microsoft.com|name=Bill Gates}
* {encode-mailto:address=steve.jobs@apple.com}

which yields:

Encode links

Encoding links works in the same way as the encode-mailto macro. You have to supply a link and optionally a name.

Examples
* {encode-link:link=http://del.icio.us|name=delicous}
* {encode-link:link=http://slashdot.org}
