Today we launch with a beta version of a site which is intended to showcase possibilities around the area of crowdsourcing and open innovation, especially with the use of Confluence, the enterprise wiki from Atlassian. In fact the site is a Space in Confluence, exactly the same way this web site is. It also, very importantly, incorporates a mash-up of Confluence plugins which some of our own customisation, to achieve some of the page create, reporting and search functions.

As mentioned in the about section of the site, this was essentially devised and implemented in about 7 days - a major feat in its own right!!! It is intended to show what is possible with the use of Confluence by skinning it to show design possibilities, mashing-up some plugins to achieve posting, rating and reporting features and then using tags to filter different ideas so that they can be ranged along the idea management life cycle. Ultimately we are offering it up as package solution to all Confluence clients - so if you are interested, step right up

There are still some features that need ironing out but for the most part if works - thanks in LARGE part to some very talented netoCiety individuals: Andreas, Chris, Matt and Emma.
